Friday afternoons are best for family outdoor sessions, where children and baby shoots can be taken throughout the day at 11am or 1pm Wednesday & Thursdays.

As I'm a lifestyle photographer, I recommend we photograph the session in the outdoors. This is where everyone is most comfortable and children can run freely around and captured in the moment.

The majority of my sessions are photographed here at Kurrajong, NSW in our bush backyard or paddocks where we can all relax and move freely. We can also incorporate our farm animals into the shoot too if you like, which makes it so much fun for the kids.

Our bush backdrop leads to our back creek where the terrain changes into rainforest vibes, birds singing, lush green ferns, timber bridges and tree houses for climbing up to.

You most defiantly have the option to choose to be photographed at your home, or a favourite park, river bank etc – the options are endless. But wherever we go, I want it to feel comfortable and free, so we can have a great time together, capturing your true personalities..

As I'm a lifestyle photographer, I recommend we photograph your newborn session indoors, either in the comfort of your own home, my acreage studio room.

The majority of my sessions are photographed here at Kurrajong, NSW in my natural lit studio room, and home visits are popular also if you would like me to photograph your little one in your bedroom/living spaces.

Our bush backdrop is another beautiful outdoor location you may choose to have your newborn family portraits captured.

I photograph using only natural light for my sessions. The majority of my shooting happens outdoors in the late afternoon, or just before sunset, when the sun is low, soft, and golden.

Although for young children and baby shoots this can work throughout the day as I have 11am and 1pm appointments available also on Wednesday & Thursdays.

This is the most common question I am asked before a session. My style of photography is very natural and I want your wardrobe to reflect this too. I love nothing more when everyone wears their weekend clothes and boots – how they would dress for an afternoon of adventuring, fishing, gardening etc. This is real life and that’s how I want to photograph you. 

Wear what makes sense for the location we're shooting in. Outdoors bush backdrop, and farm animals about kinda vibe, to rain forest adventures!

If that’s not your thing and you'd like to make more of a conscious effort with everyone's clothes, then simply wear something you feel great in as well as comfortable. My number one tip is - Mum, choose your outfit first, then design everyone else's to compliment yours.

T-shirts or polo shirts work perfectly for dads and boys. We will be doing a lot of sitting down and moving, so if Mum or daughters are going to wear a skirt or dress, keep the length in mind because you will find it hard to get comfortable if it’s too short.

Natural and neutral shades work the best. Avoid t-shirts with large logos, images or text on the front because they’re very distracting and will surely date.  

Don't be afraid of a little pattern and texture either. Linen, cotton, denim, corduroy, and lace all work beautifully in photos. If you need help or inspiration with clothing options, I have collected some broad ideas of what can work well. Please click here to have a look.

Yes! I include all props, blankets, baby wraps and little outfits for your babies. 0-12mths old.

Feel free to bring along any natural toned knits or baby outfits and I may use them on the day. Along with any nice baby wraps you may have also.

When choosing me as your photographer, you will have a personal boutique experience with me throughout.

Est. 2003 I am celebrating 20 years in this fulfilling creative photography business. So excited to work with you and your family.

Your images will be ready to view within one week of our session, via a private 1:1 Zoom session where we will view all the images together, and I will help you select your favourites to have printedaccording to the package you have chosen etc..

At this point you will also have the option to 'add on' any extra products, like enlarged prints, frames or albums.

After choosing your photos, you will confirm your selection and lock in your package with a min 50% deposit towards your order. Within 2-3 weeks your printed package will be ready for collection. Note: Custom albums and frames are may take 3-4 weeks depending on production.

Where digital packages are chosen, you have the choice to have your digitals be available for download via dropbox or saved high res on my crystal USB which can be collected from my studio office.

If someone is sick, no problem – we reschedule. Just let me know as soon as possible and we'll work out another date that suits us both. 

As for newborn, stepping stone sitting up stage sessions, they are photographed indoors and In terms of weather, I'm happy to work in most conditions that Mother Nature might throw at us.

As for outdoor family/children sessions if we are caught up with heavy rain and winds on the day, this is where my camera and I stop. So again, we just reschedule. Overcast days we will still go ahead.  

*You will loose your session fee as a cancelation fee if you choose to reschedule for reasons other than illness and weather, where we can simply reschedule.

Yes, of course! Once you preview your proofs via zoom with and have chosen your packages, you can choose to add something extra like a framed print/album/enlarged print. From Tasmanian Oak, white and black framed prints, to luxury linen art bound albums and more.

All our photographs are professionally printed with premium inks on high quality, heavy weight, matt photographic stock.

Yes! A crystal usb is included with selected packages, or you can opt to have them available to download via dropbox.

I offer sizes 5x7", 8x10", 12x16", through to framed 16x24", 24x30", 30x40"

Simply request any other size at your personal portrait selection, I will be happy to custom print most sizes.

Most of our portraits can be cropped to suit a different size frame including square frames. Simply contactJen to arrange this.

Most Sydney local clients like to personally collect their work, though shipping can be organised at a custom costing depending on the size and amount of photographs etc.
